June 25, 2010 Disneyland Fieldtrip

Summer School Fieldtrip. My group went on Thunder Mountain Railroad and had a blast. The focus is not fantastic on this one, but I was on a coaster. Thrill seekers unite!

I was playing with my new lens and using my favorite guinea pig: Rachel. We did a couple other shots, I was practicing blowing out the back and then blacking out the subject with the background surrounding the silhouette. However, I think this one is actually my favorite. Peace and Love Folks!

June 10, 2010- DITCH DAY

Every year the 6th and 7th graders go to the movies and to lunch in Monrovia on the very "last day of school". Here are some pictures I took around Monrovia. As a side note: most of these pictures on my blog (99%) have not been touched by Photoshop. Obviously, they could still use some digital retouching... no criticisms, just enjoy!
