When my transmission blew, on the side of the five freeway, I could have just wept and assumed an air of negativity. I found some interesting things on the side of the road...

We are the ladies who rule the school! OK... not really... we got to chaperone the amazing costume bowling event... Still, it was a ton of fun. Silent Night, Harold the Angel, and Olive the Other Reindeer are quite clever though!

Shakespeare can be one of the most engaging and intriguing literary concepts for the middle school student. Many educators feel that teaching Shakespeare can be too difficult for the students to comprehend, but I completely disagree. I have children in my classroom capable of thinking deeply and they are individuals who understand enough complexities in this world to make learning this material one of the keys to success... Therefore, it was very exciting to take the kids on a fieldtrip with living history, learned techniques, and even a Shakespearean play!

Teacher's have a tendency to go on a retreat towards the beginning of school. I am just happy to get a couple shots of the terrain out the window quickly enough with my co-worker driving. Good times in Big Bear!
